Marianne Mohr is a YOGA ALLIANCE accredited E-RYT, RYS, YACEP. She began practicing yoga at the age of 19 in Encinitas CA in 1972 studying with David Williams Ashtanga and Paramahansa Yogananda's Kriya Yoga 1974-80. She matriculated from Thich Nhat Hahn's 5 Mindfulness Trainings 2000, took Bodhisattva Vows from the Dalai Lama in 2003, and received Kalachakra Initiation conferred by the Dalai Lama in 2005. Marianne is dedicated to the enlightenment of all beings and leads yoga sessions with loving guidance and expertise gained in 45+ years of yoga practice.

Our philosophy is based upon our yogic lineage of Krishnamacharya, which advocates yoga practice matched to the student's needs. Combined with the latest physiology research and methods, the institute's trainers utilize a range of 400 novel yoga postures to produce myofascial release, whole-body structural re-patterning, parasympathetic nervous (and other) system benefits. Personal Yoga Training in a private setting provides clients with personalized attention, creative yoga sequences in a dedicated milieu.

Fascia is the connective tissue, or scaffolding, which envelops and supports internal structures, muscles & organs. Minimally, fascia facilitates "slide & glide" of these internal structures. When fascia becomes restricted the result may be pain, muscle tension, diminished blood flow, weakness, loss of mobility or structural compensatory imbalances. These issues may be particularly important to seniors, athletes or students with repetitive motion issues, injuries or high stress jobs/lives.
Seasoned practitioners, athletes, beginners, injured students and seniors facing aging issues will benefit from application of therapeutic yoga sequences.
