YOGA POLICY COVID-19
STUDIO REOPENS MEMORIAL WEEKEND MAY 23
A Letter from Marianne, director
ALL BUDDHA YOGA LOCATION IN NM/FL
UNTIL MAY 23rd
For the health of our
students & staff we have adopted the CDC’s plan of “social-distancing” as a
preventative measure to reduce spread of COVID-19. Consistent with State of NM’s
school year closure and the President’s statement of a peak in late April (May
for New Mexico) and a return to normal by June, Buddha Yoga will reopen Saturday
May 23, 2020 in celebration of Memorial Day.
It was not easy to halt classes
as it has so many detrimental effects on our students’ wellness regimens – and our
livelihoods. But with Ahisma as our guiding principle to “do no harm”, our
choice was clear.
We WILL see you on the other side! Be well and know we love
Dr. Arielle Foster, Doctor of Physical Therapy and Yoga Instructor provides free yoga videos on Youtube. Her focus on yoga therapy, fascial and anatomy-based yoga instruction reflects our principles.
As a certified member of YA, our practices are guided by principles which place our students’ needs in utmost priority. YA “strongly recommends, where social distancing is required, that all in-person yoga instruction be canceled.”

Reduction in fatalities from
1M to 100k can be seen on this interactive site, by practice of social distancing
to contain spread. We are doing our part by eliminating physical contact especially
for our many “high-risk” 60yo+ students.
